Jim > Black-crowned Night-Heron- This photo was taken at Fisherman's Village in Marina del Rey, CA. The Night-Heron is a noctornal bird. Although I have seen it during the day in Huntington Beach and Marina del Rey.
Jim > Cannon Rebel XTI; 10 second shutter speed; 40mm; f5.0; iso 100. I used the manual shutter control and started just as a plane from LAX hit the tree line to the left. The little dots are the blinkers on the wings. It was about 9:30 pm. How do I get the moon to be more detailed and still get the rest of the shot as it is?
Jim > I shot this at Marina del Rey inlet at about 9:30 PM.
