Remnants of an old mining area in the Racetrack area of Death Valley. In far distance is the dry lake bed called "the racetrack" where large stones move and leave their tracks in the lake bed. They say that the wind has something to do with the movement of the rocks. This shot was taken at dusk.

Badwater area of Death Valley. This shot was taken at sunset. This area is the lowest below sea level in the United States. The uneven and curvey surface is dryed salt crystals. This is not HDR processed.

"Timeless Serenity". This shot will get better as I have time to work on it. The racetrack is in the background about 2-3 miles away. Time seems to be lost in Death Valley. It is very easy to lose track of the days. They have no meaning except for humans. All you need otherwise is the Sun to tell you the general time.

This shot was captured in Palisades Park, Santa Monica, CA.

Racing with the storm. Interstate 25 between Taos, New Mexico and Los Vegas, New Mexico. This Photo received a merit award in the 2011 Professional Photographers of California competition. It also took a 2nd place in the 2010 fall competion at the Santa Clarita Valley Photography Association.
