Jim > Red-tail hawk; Malibu Lagoon, Malibu, California on a beautiful Sunday morning. This beautiful hawk was being harassed by crows. He seemed not to care and was perched on the very top of a pine. I was maybe 30-40 feet away on the ground.

Jim > Yellow butterfly Common in deserts, fields and open areas. This butterfly is either a Cloudless Sulphur or Large Orange Sulphur

Jim > This young Tern was sending out the message to mom or dad that he was hungry. Shot at Balsa Chica Reserve, Huntington Beach, CA

Jim > this big boy was ready to defend his turf

Jim > This is the one in a life time shot. No pose, no set up no nuthin. Just took the shot and a month later as I was looking at the shot closer I could not believe what I had taken and how it looked. Note the color of the dogs leg and the man, also the extension precisely of the calf and leg.
